We arranged their concert in Schull Community College, so, to make it look more festive, I asked the local gardening club if they would provide 2 big pedestal flower arrangements which they kindly did – in the national colours of Sweden, blue and yellow, and they looked absolutely splendid. But, when Solanum choir went for a practice, it was clear that the flowers would have to go because one of the singers suffered with terrible hay fever. So … dilemma… how to remove flowers without offending the ladies of the gardening club? I solved the problem by putting the flowers just inside the entrance but outside the hall.
