The voice workshop, led by Susan Nares, was well attended and turned out to be a joyful occasion. In the evening the choir performed Will Todd’s beautiful Jazz Missa Brevis. We discovered, by chance, a couple of days earlier that the composer was conducting a performance of the same piece in Liverpool Cathedral on the same day at exactly the same time. The choir were also delighted to be invited to improvise vocal parts with the TarantaCeltica, (the main act in the evening concert.)
