As she is a founder member of the choir, it is appropriate that Margaret Newcombe is choirmate of the month for April. She has served in almost every capacity, from chair to musical director, and is always to be relied upon. There is, however, a rebellious side to Margaret – in Sweden in 2003, for example, despite numerous warnings, she could not be dissuaded from cycling on the grass.
